Fired to 2381° F (nearly the melting point of steel!) for a lifetime of enduring strength and beauty, the BNCTN vase is sealed on the inside to be water-tight. The decorative element allows the clay body to show through, while the rest of the vase is finished with black copper oxide, giving it an austere, matte surface that accentuates the texture of the clay.
