Fired to 2381° F (nearly the melting point of steel!) for a lifetime of enduring strength and beauty, the IND vase is sealed on the inside to be water-tight. It is finished on the outside with iron oxide, giving it a matte surface with shimmering metallic accents that highlight the texture of the clay.
