Picasso

Many people find echoes of Picasso’s figurative plaster heads in the form of this vase. Fired to 2381° F (nearly the melting point of steel!) for a lifetime of enduring strength and beauty, the Picasso vase is sealed on the inside to be water-tight.  It is finished on the outside with white terra sigillata (thin washes of clay) and a metallic oxide, which produces its unique crackled surface.
