VSL

Fired to 2381° F (nearly the melting point of steel!) for a lifetime of enduring strength and beauty, the VSL vase is sealed on the inside to be water-tight.  It is finished on the outside with white terra sigillata (thin washes of clay) and a metallic oxide, which produces its unique crackled surface. Truly a one-of-a-kind, this piece won’t be produced again.
